Umkobi Lodge estate comprises 36 wooden chalets ), many of them lost from each other's view amongst the wild sub-tropical foliage. The chalets are all privately owned, most of them are used exclusively by their owners as weekend and holiday retreats.

You can observe eagles, water birds and bush birds from the deck. You can even watch the occasional dolphins, whale and the famous sardine run in June-July - use our 16x50 Pentax or bring your own binoculars !
